Specialty Primers

Paint manufacturers provide a variety of primers and undercoatings to meet a wide range of refinishing requirements. Correct use of proper primers provides a smooth, durable repair while maintaining corrosion protection. After all, a great finish starts with the correct primer. In addition to conventional primers, several new undercoatings are now available to the refinish market.

Spreadable Primer

Spreadable primer is a special, direct-to-metal primer that is applied with a spreader or squeegee, just like body filler. Spreadable primers can eliminate the need for masking and other time-consuming operations.
